Olympiacos FC is pleased to announce the signing of Manolis Saliakas. Born on 12 September 1996, he took his first steps in football at the Ergotelis Academy before joining the Olympiacos Academy in January 2013 at the age of 16.

Wearing the “red-and-white” shirt, he competed in the UEFA Youth League, where he was a regular starter and celebrated memorable victories over Juventus, Atlético de Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich. He also progressed to Olympiacos’ first team, making six appearances.
In 2016, he spent a loan spell at Karmiotissa in Cyprus, followed by another loan at Kissamikos in 2017. In 2019, he joined PAS Lamia on a permanent transfer before moving to PAS Giannina in 2020. He remained there until 2022, when he left Greece to join FC St. Pauli.

He was a regular starter for the German club during their promotion-winning 2023–24 campaign and went on to play two seasons in the Bundesliga (2024–25 and 2025–26), making a total of 47 appearances in Germany’s top flight, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
Manolis, welcome back to the Olympiacos family!
