Olympiacos FC is pleased to announce the signing of German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno.
Born on 6 November 1992 in Hofgeismar, he spent the second half of the season just concluded at Nottingham Forest, helping the club reach the UEFA Europa League semi-finals.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper was part of Manchester City from the summer of 2022 until February 2026, making 56 appearances under Pep Guardiola. During the 2022–23 season, when the English club completed the treble by winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League, Ortega made 14 appearances.
At the age of 15, he joined Arminia Bielefeld, where he went on to make 220 appearances, helping the club secure promotion to the Bundesliga in 2020.
