Following the UEFA Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund, Olympiacos FC head coach Ernesto Valverde, attended the Press Conference and stated the following:   20.10.2011

Olympiacos F.C. – Borussia Dortmund 3-1

A great performance throughout most of the game granted Olympiacos F.C. the 3-1 victory against German Champions, Borussia Dortmund. The match took place on Wednesday, October 19, at the “G.Karaiskakis” stadium, in the frame of the UEFA Champions League MD 3 (Group F). Jose Holebas in the 8th minute scored the opener for the home team whereas Djebbour (40’) and Modesto (78’) netted the rest, while earlier, on 26 minutes, Lewandowski temporarily tied the game (1-1) for the visitors. 20.10.2011

The referees for Wednesday’s game

The Dutch Bas Nijhuis will referee the game. He will be assisted by his compatriots Norbertus Simons y Rob Van De Ven, with Richard Liesveld, also from the Netherlands, as forth official. 19.10.2011
