OFI – Olympiacos 0-4

OFI – Olympiacos 0-4

For MD 26, Olympiacos encountered OFI in Heraklion and earned a 0-4 away win ahead of its fixture against Manchester United.

Mr Michel opted for the following line-up in 4-3-3 formation. Roberto protecting the goal; in defense, from right to left, featured Salino, Avraam, Manolas and Cholevas. Samaris and Machado were the center midfielders, with Campbell (right) and Fuster (left) at the wings. Ariel Ibagaza was placed behind our sole striker, Javier Saviola.

In 39ʼ our side charged from the left swiftly, with Machado galloping ahead to receive Cholevas feed! The Portuguese covered a long distance, starting from the midfield, dribbled past Fernandez and easily netted the opener for Olympiacos.

Not much time later and hardly before cheering the opener was over, our side added its second. Campbell worked really nice from the right and produced a splendid through-pass to Sepovic, who –from inside the box- tapped it past Fernandez for 2-0 in 42ʼ.

Scepovic managed to score his second personal goal in 53ʼ from as high as the penalty spot following a Cholevas square pass and completed his hat-trick in 88ʼ, after an uncertain Fernandez save to a Pele free kick, for the final score, 0-4.

OLYMPIACOS: Roberto, Salino, Cholevas, Manolas (58ʼ Bong), Papadopoulos, Samaris, Machado, Campbell, Fuster (62ʼ Pele), Ibagaza, Saviola (34ʼ Scepovic)
