Another magical and dreamlike evening for the Legend. Our side defeated Juventus by 1-for MD3 of UEFA Champions League group stage; with 6 points already collected, the side can still make it and qualify for the top-16 stage of Europe’s top football club competition. Mr Michel’s players, with our fans standing by their side, conquered an extraordinary win.
We support FARE, we say “no” to racism!
For the FARE’s campaign, Football People, against racism and discrimination, our Olympiacos participated in the actions setup by the organization. Before kick-off of this great fixture, there was a huge banner writing “ΝΟ RACISM” and all players from both teams had their picture taken with the Juve players standing behind it.
A “magical” first half and Kasami’s goal!
The Legend started the match very enthusiastically, and it was Kasami to cut Gordian knot, who made optimum use of the passing game between Dominguez and Mitroglou and slotted it in fine style from inside the box for 1-0 in the 46’. That score never changed in the remaining time and the Greek Champions went on to the dressing rooms, holding a clear lead during the break.
Roberto built the wall that stopped everything!
Juventus tried to react in the second half, but the guardian angel of the Greek goal was there to stop them. He saved efforts by Pogba, Tevez and Morata, with the ones in 81’ and 85’ standing out. As soon as the final whistle was blown, our players and Mr Michel started to celebrate their impressive win over the Italian Champions.
