Strong and victorious in Karaiskakis Stadium

Olympiacos edged Ionikos 3–1 for the 3rd round of the Super League.

Olympiacos was victorious showing a good performance against Ionikos for the 3rd day of the Super League championship with a score of 3–1, with their new signing Pep Biel as a protagonist, who scored a goal and provided an assist.

The “red-and-whites” were superior for the most part, something that was conveyed in the field, thus winning all three points of victory, in view of the start of the UEFA Europa League group stages on Thursday against Nantes on an away match.

Bouchalakis scored the 1–0 at 17’, while Biel doubled Olympiacos’ goals at 45’. At 49’ Ionicos tied 2–1 with Mendoza. The final 3–1 was provided by El-Arabi after a penalty kick during injury time of the match.
