Olympiacos FC announces signing of Portuguese central defender Rúben Miguel Nunes Vezo.
Born on April 25th, 1994, in Setubal, he joined local outfit Vitória’s academies at the age 11; he premiered with their First Team in Primeira Liga during the 2013-2014 season. In January 2014 and following 14 caps with Vitória, he was transferred to Valencia.
In August 2016, he was given on loan to Granada and in January 2019 to Levante; the latter signed him fully in July of that year from Valencia.
The 29-year-old defender has had 165 caps with Levante, 84 with Valencia and 19 with Granada. He was featured in Portugal’s U-19, U-20 and U-21 National Teams. This year he played in 20 Levante fixtures, whereas he has both Champions League and Europa League experience.
