A morale-boosting win was the one registered in Heraklion by the Legend, which managed to overcome all resistance that splendidly performing Ergotelis put on and leave Pagkrition Stadium victorious by 3-2!
in the context of the FARE campaign, Football People, against racism and discrimination, our Olympiacos took part in the organization’s activities. Mr. Michel’s players actually showed racism the red card! They put on FARE-branded white shirts, dedicated to the fight against all kinds of discrimination and expressed their objection to the social blight! Our players were joined by their Ergotelis peers.

Characteristically enough, the Legend fell victim of the football law, since despite its goal-scoring chances, our side fell behind and Ergotelis had the lead minutes before the end of the first half. However, great sides become even greater through hardships! The Legend’s response was swift and emphatic; our side managed to score -at least- one well-deserved goal out of all its chances. So, both teams left for the break in a half-time 1-1 draw.
After the break, Ergotelis scored in its first visit to Roberto’s and made it 2-1. Ergotelis had a fantastic 5-minute momentum during which they failed to convert any of their 2-3 chances, and the legend made its return from the penalty spot; “Chori” levelled the match in 2-2! The Legend, whose name suggest that the team knows the way to victory even under hardship, succeeded in grabbing what was worthily its own: the victory, courtesy of late Mitroglou goal!
