In their first match for the UEFA Europa League group stage, o Olympiacos played Nantes in France and got beaten 2-1. The “red-and-whites” tried to take something positive out of the match, but conceded the determining goal in stoppage time.
In the first half, Nantes scored the opener in 32’ with Mohamed, but Olympiacos equalized in 50′ by a Moutoussamy own-goal. However, it as in the match’s injury time when the home team netted the winner when in 90+3′ Guessand managed to head it home.
The players of Olympiacos complained for a foul committed on Aboubakar Kamara early before the goal weas scored.
