Olympiacos suffered a 2-1 home defeat to PAOK from Super League’s MD8.

Although better on the G. Karaiskakis turf, Olympiacos lost many goal-scoring chance and ultimately the match by 1-2 to PAOK.

The red-and-white outfit had 3 times more chances than their opponents, yet less luck than the visiting team to get something more out of this match. As early as in 9′, PAOK took the lead following a Papastathopoulos own-goal; Olympiacos levelled the score in 37′ courtesy of James Rodriguez. However, it was in 56’ of the second half and against the run of play that Narei netted it for the final 1-2.
