A victory secured early enough

Olympiacos recorded a 2-1 derby win to PAOK and sits lonely atop of the table.

With 20 minutes in the clock, the Legend stepped on the gas and secured the win with a 2-goal lead before the break. First, it was Aguibou Camara with the opener in 22’ and Masouras in 31’ to beautifully tap it in for our side’s second goal. Olympiacos could have scored more goals, but El Arabi and A. Camara were denied by the post. PAOK had no more than a single attempt on target in the first half and a good opportunity in 58’ with Michailidis aiming at the crossbar until Murg scored in 81’.

Olympiacos (Pedro Martins): Vaclik, Lala, Papastathopoulos, Cisse, Reabciuk, M’Vila, M. Camara (70’ Bouchalakis), Masouras (83’ Vrousai), Rodrigues (46’ Onyekuru), A. Camara (83’ Kunde), El Arabi (59’ Tiquinho).
